The darkness has a voice. The emptiness has a name.
sideshowfreak™ was a concept rock opera/comic book sort of thing I published back in the 90s, on the underground scene happening then. Some of this old stuff got great college radio airplay back then. But I could never keep a band together long enough to go actually play some of this stuff in shows.
I grew up, moved on, played in other bands. But every now and then over the years, I will dig out these old drawings I made back then, and think about doing something more with some of the storyboards, and ideas I created all those years ago.
Now ai is here, but is it legit? I have done these drawings by hand, and these songs are real. Using ai is cheating? Using a computer algorithm? My mind is not made up yet. I am experimenting. And meanwhile, these old stories beckon.
